A SetFlow Curator is a working DJ who shares real gig histories, imported directly from their own Rekordbox library, so SetFlow VIP members can see exactly what they actually played. This page explains the deal: what's expected of a curator, and what a curator gets in return.
Anyone can apply. Applications are reviewed before approval — we check for a genuine working DJ with real, qualifying performances. Approval is at SetFlow's discretion.
An Active Curator contributes at least 2 qualifying live set histories every calendar month. A qualifying performance is at an established public club, bar, festival or ticketed nightlife event with a live audience.
The following do not qualify: radio shows, podcasts, bedroom or studio mixes, livestream-only sets, or a manually built tracklist/playlist presented as a live set.
Missing the monthly requirement does not automatically end your account. SetFlow reviews it and may keep you active, mark you inactive, or suspend you, with the option to restore your account later.
You choose which of your imported histories to publish. Once you submit one for review, and once it's approved, the complete history is published exactly as imported — every track, in the order you played it. After that, tracks cannot be added, removed, hidden, substituted or reordered by you, by SetFlow, or by anyone else. Histories you don't submit stay completely private; only you can see them.
SetFlow may mark some of your published sets as free preview, open to everyone, so listeners can experience your curator page before subscribing. The rest are available to SetFlow VIP members only. SetFlow decides which sets are free preview.
Approved curators get a public SetFlow profile page (your name, genres, location and socials if you provide them, and your published sets) and a personal referral link.
Your referral link points people to SetFlow VIP. When someone subscribes to VIP through your link:
Your dashboard's Earnings page shows your referrals, eligible revenue and accrued share in real figures. Automated payouts are not built yet — for now, payouts are handled manually by SetFlow. This page will be updated when automated payouts are available.
If someone wants to book you through your SetFlow profile, the request goes to SetFlow, not directly to you. SetFlow contacts you to arrange it. SetFlow may retain a fee for arranging a booking made this way; the amount is agreed with you individually and is separate from the VIP referral commission described above.
SetFlow stores track metadata (artist, title, order, timing) from your imported history — never audio files. SetFlow does not host or stream your music.
You can stop contributing at any time; your already-published sets remain published unless you contact SetFlow to discuss removing them. SetFlow may suspend or remove a curator for breaching this agreement, including publishing a set that turns out not to be a genuine qualifying performance.
SetFlow may update this agreement. Continuing as a curator after a change means you accept it. Significant changes (for example to the commission rate) will be communicated to active curators.
